Urgent Care or ER?
Call your physician for advice and
direction when possible. They know you best. Also,
Health Plans offer 24-hour nurse consultation and can advise you
whether to go to an urgent care or wait until your doctor's office

Urgent Care Service:
Unforeseen medical problems occasionally happen
when your physician's office is closed. Call your physician, if
possible for advice and direction. Primary Care Physicians are
available to provide coverage 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
Illnesses that cannot wait until the next business day, but do not
require the full services of hospital or emergency room, are best
treated at an Urgent Care. In Grass Valley/Nevada City area we
recommend Yuba Docs Urgent Care as a place that can
usually provide a more rapid means of treating certain less severe
medical conditions as opposed to a hospital emergency room.
